COMPETITION EVENTS AND DIVISIONS

… WCJJO World Ju-jitsu Championships

  • Sport Ju-jitsu individual weight division – Men’s and Ladies
  • Sport Ju-jitsu individual weight division – Masters (40 years and over) – Men’s and Ladies
  • Sport Ju-jitsu Country Team event – Men’s and Ladies
  • Ne-Waza (Grappling) individual weight division – Men’s and Ladies
  • Goshin-jutsu event (self-defence) Team event

COMPETITOR ENTRY FEES

NOTE – Competitors must be members within a member association of the WCJJO.

  • Entry fee for each competitor is GBP £ 70.00 entitling entry into all events WCJJO Sport Ju-jitsu plus Ne-waza (grappling) plus Goshin-jutsu (self-defence), at the 2023 WCJJO World Ju-Jitsu Championships for which the competitor qualifies.
  • Entry only into the WCJJO Ne-waza events – an entry fee for each competitor of GBP £ 40.00
  • Entry only into the Goshin-jutsu event – an entry fee for each competitor of GBP £ 10.00
  • Entry into both Ne-waza and Goshin-jutsu only – an entry fee for each competitor of GBP £ 50.00

PREPARATION AND TRAINING TO THE RULES

Specific training under WCJJO Rules is currently available within NSW Sydney region and opportunities to extend this to other States is being explored.
