The history of ASJJ in Australia dates back over 100 years to 1906 and the arrival from Japan of Ryugoro Fukushima who trained and graded our foundation master Len Noyes … Within this website we have shared more on the history of jujutsu in Australia.

Jujutsu teaching experience

An impressive record of Black Belt graduates can be viewed in the enclosed Black Belt Register … currently the five most senior ASJJ graduate members ranked from 6th to 9th Dan, have in excess of 250 years collective jujutsu experience.
